The Sound Doctor is a website full of films developed to help individuals, their relatives and carers to better understand the condition so that they can all take control and get the most out of life.

The films covering a wide range of topics are all short and easy to understand and are grouped under various headings to make the site easy to navigate. The films can be watched in any order, at the pace of the viewer and at any time.

The films show real stories from people with dementia and their carers, they are practical, engaging and easy to follow with the aim of improving people’s knowledge and their quality of life.

The films have been developed in collaboration with Newcastle University Institute for Ageing and Vitality.

To access the Sound Doctor email info@thesounddoctor.org with the name of your GP and the Practice and the condition you would like to access – in this case Dementia. The Sound Doctor team will get back to you with a link to the login page.
