The Herbert Protocol for Missing People with Dementia
January 22 2020The Herbert Protocol asks carers, family members and friends of people with Dementia, to complete a form, recording all vital details about their loved one such as:
- any medication required
- mobile numbers
- places previously located
- a recent photograph
This information can then be shared quickly with the relevant agencies should their loved one be reported missing.
If you have a loved one living with Dementia and are concerned they may go missing, please contact your local Community Support Officer who will assist you in completing the forms.
