Macmillan Cancer Support is a national charitable organisation that provides practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Macmillan aims to make sure there’s always someone here for you, to give you the support, energy and inspiration you need to help you feel more like you.

Macmillan can help people to find answers to questions about the treatment and its effects. It can also advise on work and benefits, as well as providing emotional support when things get tough.

The charity runs a helpline 0808 808 0000 which is available Monday to Friday, 9am–8pm.

Macmillan’s Online Community community.macmillan.org.uk is a place for people affected by cancer to come together, share stories, find information and support each other. Join to access blogs, live chat, discussion boards and specific groups about every step of your cancer journey. The video below explains more.
