People living with dementia can often feel that holidays, travel and outdoor activity are things that are no longer available to them. Dementia Adventure specialise in designing and delivering smallgroup short breaks and holidays for people living with dementia, their partners, family, friends or carer to enjoy together.
People living with dementia and their carers all benefit from being able to get out in the open air and sunshine, with the sights, sounds and smells being relaxing and stimulating at the same time. People often report being able to sleep better after the walks, and have an increase in appetite too.
